DEES HUNGRY TO WIN: BAILEY
BY ANDREW MAHONY
MELBOURNE coach Dean Bailey says his team is not happy with honourable losses, and will play the remaining six games with the intention of winning.
“We want to win the game. We’re not here to just roll on for the next four or five weeks and get close and be happy with that, absolutely not,” he said.
“Every game I still believe we go out there with an intention to win the game.”
Melbourne have dropped hard midfielder Nathan Jones and lost Brad Miller to a hamstring injury, but bring back key utility Brad Green who had been missing through injury.
The Demons have won just two games so far this year, and will take on a hot Essendon side this Saturday, that has won five of its past six games.
