FOLLOWING three losses to Collingwood last season, Paul Roos has made it clear that his Swans need to out-tackle their opponent at ANZ Stadium tomorrow night if they hope to win.

After being outclassed by the Magpies in 2007, Roos knows that a physical style of play is what will win the game for either side.

“They have out-tackled us really well last year and that is a midset thing,” he said yesterday, “our guys need to come with that mindset and compete really really hard. In that final I think they almost doubled us in tackles, so we need to come (prepared).”

“If they smash us in the tackles, they’ll beat us.”

Collingwood won all three games against Sydney last year, by a total score of 302-220.
