Hutchy, who do you consider the best caller in football? And, how do you rate Dwayne Russell’s bland calls on foxtel. In fact, how do you rate foxtels team, do past players get media roles to quickly and lack the professionalism and broadcasting skills needed? Is it fair that people work their whole lives to get into the media, yet footballers get a free ride after retriement.

I didn’t say that! I said the Lottery WON’T work to stop tanking!
The system as a whole is broken SO DON’T BREAK IT with a lottery!

Do you think that the AFL have the scheduling of the split round set up right?
Instead of 6 games in the first week of the break and 2 games in the second week, shouldn’t there be a four and four spread of games? This way, both weekends have a Friday night, Saturday, Saturday night and one Sunday game. Why only have two games in the second week?

Hi Guys,
My question this week is as a young footballer comes through the ranks, is their someone to help guide them? are they taught the responsibility’s of handling such large amounts of money, and pressure? Do you think that the clubs need to do more in helping and educating them on this?
I wish Ben Cousins all the best, but maybe some young boys need a lot more help coping with the high pressure situation to help prevent them from falling into such a dark and lonely hole.

Hi Hutchy,
Here is my question for the DVD trivia competition:
Why don’t the AFL adopt a basketball-like approach to the centre circle bounce dilemma? For example, play a ‘jump-ball’, therefore players won’t crunch into one another or land awkwardly and injure themselves.

Hutchy - with so many out of contract veteran players potentially available at the end of 2008, would there be any side that would give up draft picks to swoop on the likes of Jeff Farmer, Jeff White, Spider Everitt, Scott Lucas, Anthony Rocca, Michael Braun, Ben Cousins, etc? The Kangaroos did it in the 70s with much short term success with Wade, Rantall & Barry Davis. Your thoughts?

Hi Hutchy -
With Carlton, St.Kilda and North Melbourne all in a heated congested race for the top 8, who do you think has the best chance to make it? Also who is your prediction for the dreaded wooden spoon?

Hi Hutchy,The Gold Coast team enters the comp in 2011,& could potetialy play finals by 2013 2014.they will have accsess to many top juniors + good players they pick up from other clubs,my ? is if they win the wooden spoon in 2011 do they have first crack in the draft,if so isn’t that unfair on the other clubs who lost a good player to the Gold Coast the season before & the junior they got for him is still several seasons away from making the grade.Do you think the AFL are creating a finals monster.

Hutchy,
Why do you put up with Newman’s crap on The Footy Show?
Nice to see you take a stance in the most recent show, but stuff him, save your exclusives for Footy Classified.
