EADE HAILS HAWKS
BY ANDREW LOWTHER
WESTERN Bulldogs coach Rodney Eade has heaped praise on Hawthorn’s ’soccer-driven’ tactics before the two teams’ round 10 battle.
But Eade has warned that the Hawks are in danger of over-complicating their game, the Herald Sun reports.
“They do things differently,” Eade said. “They have new strategy involved around defensively when the opposition have got the ball.
“It is unique, it is obviously soccer-driven but much as you do, and I know as a coach, you can sometimes complicate the game and do things differently.”
The Hawks are without a number of players through suspension and injury and look set to struggle to find the numbers to rotate through the midfield - an area where the Bulldogs excel.
