SYDNEY Swans coach Paul Roos has taken a swipe at the North Melbourne hierarchy, accusing them of emitting mixed messages after the Swans played an extra man in the dying minutes of Sunday’s game which resulted in a controversial draw.

Speaking before the Swans’ training session at the SCG today Roos accused the Kangaroos of changing their tune on the matter.

“I thought they handled it really well after the game on Monday…and the early half of Tuesday but they must have had a meeting again mid Tuesday and they all decided what they said on Monday and Tuesday was not correct,” Roos said.

Roos said the club had accepted the $50,000 fine they were handed by the AFL and were moving on.

Despite being disgruntled by the AFL’s decision, North Melbourne has ruled out taking further legal action after not being awarded the win.
