NO CRISIS AT DEMONS: GARDNER
BY BRAD KLIBANSKY
MELBOURNE president Paul Gardner has denied the club is in crisis.
The Demons have had a horrid start to their 150th year in the AFL, losing their opening two matches by an average of 99.5 points, but Gardner believes new coach Dean Bailey deserves a chance to show his worth.
“The club is in not in a crisis,” said Gardner. The club has been profitable in the past four years and we will look to rectify it this weekend.”
“Out of the four rookie coaches only one has won a game, they all deserve a chance and we are looking forward to Dean doing that.”
