Sydney Swans Adam Goodes faces a one game suspension for striking which could end his 193 game playing streak.

The two time Brownlow medallist was cited by the match review panel for striking Port Adelaide’s Matt Thomas in the first term of Sydney’s 68 point victory yesterday.

Goodes sits fifth on the all time AFL consecutive games list one game behind team-mate Jarred Crouch.

No other players face a suspension after the match review panel handed down a reprimand to Geelong defender Josh Hunt for tripping Essendon’s Brent Stanton and also to Brisbane’s Daniel Merret for rough conduct against Anthony Rocca.
