ASHAMED former AFL star Wayne Carey has confronted many of the issues of his life in a compelling interview with Andrew Denton on ABC TV.

Carey admitted to drinking during his entire 15 years of playing the game, he admitted to using recreational drugs to aid his drinking however Carey would not blame his drug and alcohol abuse for his long wrap sheet.
