ALAN DIDAK WILL NOT BE PUNISHED:PERT
BY CHRIS GRANT.
COLLINGWOOD have decided that Alan Didak deserves no suspension or fine for his involvement with alleged CBD gunman Christopher Wayne Hudson.
The press conference at the Lexus Centre has just broken moments ago; CEO Gary Pert says that they will not suspend Alan Didak because he had not broken team rules or any laws.
However the forward has been put on notice that any further incidents will not be tolerated.
“Alan will be given specific behavioral guidelines to keep him out of high risk situations,” Pert said.
“Regardless of performance on the field no player will ever compromise the success or culture of the Collingwood football club.”
Pert stated that they would be changing the Collingwood players code of conduct, to include the requirement to immediately and accurately inform the club of any similar incidents.
Didak has been assisting police with their enquiries about the events that transpired on the night of June 12, where it is alleged shots were fired in Cambpellfield from a car that Hudson was in.
However Didak is considered to be just a witness and it is highly unlikely that the forward will face any charges.
